Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar / Hello March!

Happy March everyone!! I love the start of new months because it means starting over and making better choices! Maybe February was a bad month for you or you chose some bad health habits (we all have them and they are hard to break). Maybe you gained weight or your blood pressure is really high? Or perhaps you're slacking in your workout routine and feeling sluggish?
I mentioned in my about page that I'd be promoting USANA but I'm also promoting other natural remedies and health life hacks. There are few things out there that can help many areas physically with few side affects. And SURPRISE I'm sure you guessed it today's topic is apple cider vinegar!!

I'm wanting to lose more weight and get my own blood pressure back in check and along with my daily shakes and green tea I'm taking 1 tbsp of APV mixed with water (I don't recommend drinking it straight because there's a possibility you can burn your esophagus and you don't want any more problems..). I started yesterday along with doing some cardio and my goal for this month is to....

1. Be more healthy. I'm cutting out sweets and trying to stick close to drinking water and tea.

2. Work out more. I would much rather sit on a couch and read a good book. I'm not the type to be entirely active in sports. Some of the time is okay but I have to be in the mood. Eating healthy will help you but you need to work out to tone once you've lost that weight. But anyways those are my two things for this month.

I'll be taking ACV/w water for about 38 days, morning and evening and while I was reading up on it I found these other great benefits.

1. It Helps Detox Your Body.

2. Makes Your Hair Shine

ACV can be used as a natural hair conditioner and makes your hair shine!  Take an old shampoo bottle, then fill it will 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and 1 cup of water.  Pour this on your hair after shampooing three times per week for best results.

3. Is A Natural Teeth Whitener

4. Can Treat Acid Re flux and Heartburn

5. Can Kill Candida (Yeast) and Boost Probiotics

Many struggle with candida and yeast.  The side effects can be bad breath, lack of energy, UTI’s and digestive issues.  ACV contains probiotics and a type of acid that promotes the growth of probiotics which help kill off candida.

6. Regulates Your Bodies pH

7. Can Support Weight Loss and Metabolism

A study published in the Journal of Diabetes Care found that taking apple cider vinegar could help weight loss.  There are several reasons ACV promotes fat loss but one of those reasons include that ACV reduces sugar cravings and improves detoxification.  Another study found that supplementing with the acetic acid found in apple cider vinegar reduced body fat in mice by 10%.

8. An All-Natural Household Cleaner

9. Helps Soothe a Sunburn

10. Balances Blood Sugar and Improves Diabetes

Medical research has proven that the acetic acid found in apple cider vinegar can balance blood sugar and improve diabetes.  Put apple cider vinegar on salads or consume 1 tablespoon in water before meals.

11. Heals Poison Ivy

12. Repels Fleas on your Pets

13. Lowers Blood Pressure

In a 2009 12-week study they found that consuming apple cider vinegar lowered triglycerides and blood pressure significantly.

14. Fights Seasonal Allergies

ACV helps break up mucous in your body and support lymphatic drainage.  It also supports the immune system and can clear your sinuses.

15. Kills Fungus on Toes and Skin

16. Is A Skin Toner for Eczema and Acne

The pH of apple cider vinegar makes it an excellent remedy for skin issues.  Rub apple cider vinegar on an area or use it to wash an area then put coconut oil and essential oils on area to support further healing.

17. Eases Varicose Veins

18. Is A Natural Deodorant

19. Can Cure a Cold and Sore Throat

Apple cider vinegar is the ultimate remedy to cure a cold and sore throat fast!  Because it’s loaded with vitamins and probiotic boosting acetic acid it’s a great natural cure.  Take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in one glass of water 3x daily to cure a cold.

20. ACV Cures Warts

Put apple cider vinegar topically on wart and then cover in band aide or bandage.  Leave on overnight and remove in the morning.  You may see results in one week or it could take longer.  Thousands have sworn that apple cider vinegar cured warts and other skin issues.

This is only a few of the many apple cider vinegar uses and natural remedies.

I challenge you this month to make a healthy goal you want to accomplish. You don't have to take apple cider vinegar or do cardio but maybe there is something you can cut out or start doing to help yourself? If you are doing something comment below and tell me what your goals are! Let's keep each other accountable! But also on that note maybe you have a spiritual goal? Like studying out a certain book in the Bible or praying more? Whatever it may be make a decision to start doing it and don't let anything get in the way of that.  (Remember it takes roughly 21 days to have a consistent habit and 1-3 to break it.)

1 Corinthians 10:31 - Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
