And!!! We're Off!! - #BHWLP Day 1

Woohoo! And here we go! So you've decided to take part in our 28 day program? Awesome! You won't regret it! You've set some goals and by the time the last day comes you want to see results and you want to see that you didn't give up! That's great! Your motivation will take you far!

To get anywhere in life, it's always that first step that's the hardest to make. From there it gets easier but like anything there are forks in the road and you want to be sure you are making wise choices. In this case, you want to make healthy FOOD choices. I know starting on a Saturday was an odd day since it's the weekend, but all because it's the weekend doesn't mean you can't make healthy choices. Don't do well through the weekdays than slack off on the weekend by eating unhealthy. Stick in there!! Trust me, it will pay off later.

For the first week or so, your body is going to be adjusting to the shakes and vitamins and even throughout the program but especially in the first week. You're going to be craving food, and food, and food, but don't indulge yourself!! Our bodies are so used to eating all these processed, filled with sugar and salt, foods and it takes a while to clean out the toxins in our body! To accompany your eating habits, make sure you're drinking plenty of water and encourage yourself maybe to work out for about 25-30 minutes a day. Or if you want to do more than that, that sounds good to!

Whatever your goal is, remember to keep taking steps forward - even if they're small ones. You'd rather work up slowly then be wavering back and forth.

Remember: The first step to getting anywhere is deciding you're not willing to stay where you are.

Maybe you're not apart of the 28 Day Program but it's not too late to start now! You can start anytime and if you wanted to you can do more than 28 days! Being healthy shouldn't feel like a duty, but a lifestyle! Aren't you worth it? God has only given us one body and we need to take care of it. There are no do overs or back buttons so make it count! Spice things up a bit! Maybe try a new recipe or do something you've never done before! Maybe running isn't your thing, and if it's not I hear you because I don't like it myself but consider trying to strengthen your stamina and encouraging yourself to work out more. I'm trying it out and I've found that I'm starting to like it. There's no harm in it just make sure you get cool air and lots of water!!!

What do you do to make sure you're getting all your micro and macro nutrients? It's important that we get everything our body needs. From the carbs, to the fats, to the proteins, our body needs it all! Being apart of Usana doesn't mean you are limiting what foods you eat, but it's about getting all your nutrients!
